Today isn’t just a holiday; it’s a milestone. Since 1966, sixty years of history have shaped the Cameroon we live in today. A lot has changed”. Much water has gone under the bridge. But, these changes are exactly where our power lies.
The world has shifted, and so must we.
🤝 From State-provided to Co-provided: we are no longer just beneficiaries; we are partners in development.
💻 From Analogue to AI: We have moved from manual tasks to a world powered by Digital Technology and Artificial Intelligence.
👩💼 From Tradition to Inclusion: We are seeing a new “flavor” of leadership-one that is increasingly young, feminine, and dynamic, just as the Head of State has envisioned.
My challenge to youths is simple: Own the Mutation 🚀
The opportunities are waiting, but they require a new mindset. I strongly urge youths to:
1. Conquer the Digital Space: Don’t just consume content; create solutions. Explore how AI and tech can solve local problems.
2. Look to the Markets: Step into the world of finance. Explore the BVMAC (Stock Exchange Market of Central African States) to build and grow wealth.
3. Return to the Earth: Modern agriculture is the new gold mine. It is the backbone of our economy.
4. Engage in Politics: Take an interest in how your community is governed. Your voice is a reliable compass of our ongoing decentralization process.
Above all: Believe in yourselves.💎
We aren’t just the “leaders of tomorrow.” We are the problem-solvers of today. We possess the keys to the very challenges we face.
I wish every young Cameroonian a happy, productive, and prosperous Youth Day! 🇨🇲
Happy Youth Day to Cameroonian Youths
