Nearly two decades ago, by the grace of God, I stepped into the world of Communication and Public Relations not merely as a profession, but as a calling. Since then, I’ve been privileged to learn from and be inspired by some of the most remarkable individuals across all walks of life: communication and PR professionals, journalists, engineers, agronomists, politicians, administrators, magistrates, lawyers, diplomats, accountants, academics and just as importantly drivers, cooks, and cleaners.
Every encounter has been a lesson. Every conversation, a new perspective. These interactions have enriched my work, giving me a seat at the ever-evolving table of ideas.
Communication, at its heart, is about bridging worlds—connecting brands to people, talent to opportunity, ideas to funders, and political vision to real-world impact. This was on full display during the International Economic Days held in Yaoundé from June 2–4, 2025, organized by the United Cities and Councils of Cameroon (UCCC).
Together with my dedicated team, we helped bring together nearly 10,000 people from Cameroon, Morocco, Belgium, Germany, France, and beyond. What started as “just another assignment” soon turned into something extraordinary in the eyes of others.
To my great surprise—and with deep humility—I was invited to the stage to receive the Special Prize for Best Stand at the event.
I accept this award not as a personal triumph, but as a tribute to the men and women who work with unwavering dedication under my stewardship—those who shine a light every day on Cameroon’s decentralization process and its growing momentum.
I also extend my sincere gratitude to the Minister of Decentralization and Local Development for entrusting me with the opportunity to serve at this critical juncture.
May this be a reminder: great communication is not about spotlighting ourselves, but about amplifying purpose, progress, and people.
